I say this not just because of the ingredients found in it, but because of the results it produced when I used it.

Like most colon cleansers, the main ingredient of Cloud Nine ColonDetox is psyllium husk; and a very high quality of this powerful fiber. Psyllium is a plant which is common throughout the Middle East and it is used in a variety of products, marshmallows being the most common. When the husk from the psyllium plant is taken by itself in high concentration, like in a colon cleanser, they are extremely effective in removing old waste. ColonDetox combines this with a few other types of fiber to produce a very thorough cleanser which flushes out an astonishing amount of, well, crap. The supplement also contains a laxative which helps greatly in this process.

I myself have used ColonDetox and found that it at least seemed to remove more than other colon cleansers, except of course for my first time cleansing. It also didn't leave me rushing to the bathroom every few minutes. There was one large "push" followed by a few smaller ones. It also didn't upset my stomach or give me cramps and pains as I've experienced a few times before. Relative to the amount of compacted waste I passed was the great feeling that followed it. The most profound change was the amount of positive energy I had; task that would either drain me or I didn't even have the energy to begin I was now doing with ease. While there wasn't any significant weight loss at first, the appearance of one was present because my stomach didn't have the small protrusion it previously did. This feeling also persisted longer than it did with previous supplements, drinks or powders, meaning that I probably won't have to cleanse again for a longer period of time. This is a good thing, I always feel good afterwards but the process of cleansing has never been a pleasant one for me.

I very highly recommend this product, but more importantly recommend cleansing by any method. Whether you prefer to do this at home as I do, or don't mind going for the rather invasive procedure of an enema it is very important to cleanse at least four times per year. As I've described in previous articles, there are bacteria in our colons, many of them harmful. As for the helpful ones that help keep us clean, they are no longer doing this as well as they used to. This is because of the dramatic changes in our diets and the amounts of toxins and various pollutants we are being exposed to on a daily basis; neither our bodies nor these bacteria can really keep up anymore and/or they don't know how to deal with a lot of these new toxins. They end up stored all over the body, in particularly the colon.
Wed, 22 Apr 2009 04:01:19 -0700http://www.thinkherbals.com/colon-cleanse/reviews/bromacleanse.htmlBromacleanse
Bromacleanse is an interesting formula; it's not clear whether it is primarily a colon cleanser or a weight loss supplement. All colon cleansers support weight loss by clearing out excess toxic weight and improving digestion, but Bromacleanse contains a "thermogenic fat burner" as well and claims to deposit "probiotics" in the colon. I will go into further detail on both of these later on.

The Bromacleanse site has some good information about health, as you would expect mostly about the way the colon's health impacts the rest of the body. There were even a few facts I didn't know, such as how the colon can be blocked up to 80%. With only 20% open to remove waste, it is much easier for additional waste to build up, and it is no wonder that 2.5 million physician visits a year are due to problems with the colon. Unlike many other sites, the ingredients are clearly displayed. Unfortunately this is the point I got somewhat confused.

One of the main ingredients of Bromacleanse is Mangosteen extract. Mangosteen is chocked full of vitamins and antioxidants, which help boost overall health. It also can increase energy and improve the immune system, but other than a very loose and vague connection to possibly helping gastro intestinal problems it does not relate to colon cleansing. Another ingredient which seemed to be out of place is grape seed extract. Something which is very healthy for you, it helps combat high blood pressure and lowers cholesterol, but has nothing to do with colon cleansing.

Green Tea extract is used in many, many various herbal supplements, but this is the first time I've seen it used in a colon cleanser. Green tea has some applications as an appetite suppressant, and also boosts metabolism so that you store less fat from the food that you eat. On Bromacleanse's website they refer to it as a thermogenic fat burner, which basically means that it burns fat by increasing your body temperature so that you sweat it out. I have yet to see any evidence to suggest that Green Tea could increase body temperature significantly. Pills which are powerful enough to act as thermogenic fat burners are not always safe. You may want to do a Google search for "DNP", one of the earliest diet pills which had fatal results.

Papian and Ginger Root fit much more with the theme of colon cleansing and digestive health. Papian is quite helpful in the digestive process as it furthers the breakdown of food, allowing it to pass through the intestines and colon more smoothly. Ginger Root has a similar function. It also has positive effects on the circulatory system; it improves blood flow, lowers blood pressure and helps in reducing cholesterol. The two most unusual substances found in Bromacleanse are Acidophilus & Bifidobacterum, which are the probiotics I mentioned earlier. From the research I've read, they have a great effect on the entire digestive process. They increase the amount of natural acids the body produces which makes it harder for harmful bacteria in the colon to survive. Acidophilus also greatly helps in the digestion of dairy products, and this can help relieve bloating, abdominal pain and is somewhat helpful in relieving irritable bowel syndrome.

There are a lot of beneficial, health boosting ingredients in Bromacleanse. Absent however were some of the most standard ingredients in a colon cleanser. A fiber, usually high grade psyllium husk, is needed to remove all of the built up waste that has been compacted in the colon. Although the site acknowledges the problems of this waste the supplement does not appear to be able to remove it. Also absent was the natural laxative which greatly helps while cleansing. For this reason I would not so much label Bromacleanse as a colon cleanser but rather a supplement to support digestive health with some weight loss benefits.
Tue, 26 May 2009 05:30:50 -0700
