Increase Your HGH Naturally

Why you should increase HGH is an important question, and nearly as important is how you should increase HGH levels in your body.

The first issue is a slightly simpler one. HGH is a hormone found in every person, which is obvious by its name "Human Growth Hormone". HGH stimulates the release of other essential hormones like testosterone, estrogens, progesterone and IGF 1. It also help with homeostasis, which is the normalization of our bodies; it applies to things like temperature, hydration, salt and hormone levels. For these reasons HGH is sometimes referred to as the master hormone.

These applications aside, the main function of HGH is to stimulate body cells to reproduce. Cellular division, or the creation of new body cells, is necessary to repair the damage that our bodies endure throughout our lives. This damage comes from a variety of sources and takes its toll in different ways. There are toxins and "free radicals" in the food you eat and water you drink, radiation from the sun, illness, injury and chemical pollutants to name just a few. When we are young, we have high levels of HGH to repair this damage. This is why younger people recover from illness and injury much faster. After the age of thirty or so, HGH levels in the body begin to drop, and by the mid fifties it is a fraction of its former levels. Without this hormone cellular damage begins to build up and go unrepaired or is not properly repaired. In the skin, it is seen as a loss in texture, sagging, wrinkling and discoloration. The same process of "cellular deficit" is taking place all over your body. By increasing HGH levels to those of your younger self, you can significantly reduce the speed of aging and even reverse some of the damage.

How you increase HGH levels is a more complicated issue. The most common method of increasing HGH in the bloodstream is to inject, or rather receive injections, of synthetically produced hormone. This is used for both anti aging and athletic purposed. While this is undoubtedly the fastest way to increase HGH and the benefits can be enjoyed in a short amount of time there are drawbacks. Because it is not the body's own HGH and the exact amount for appropriate each person varies side effects often occur. These include fluid retention and early onset of arthritis and/or an exacerbation of arthritis. Even acromegaly has been reported from use of HGH injections.

The safer, yet admittedly slower way of increasing HGH is through supplement. HGH supplements don't actually contain the hormone, but instead stimulated the body to increase HGH production. The supplements are generally natural and are available without prescription; they also do not carry side effects. It is for this reason they are the preferable way to increase HGH.
