HGH Plus is a relatively popular brand of HGH releaser. HGH Plus was developed by Dr. Orman, and on his site he offers "Active Wellness Moment" videos where he gives general tips on things like relieving back pain and treating insomnia. You can actually buy an entire DVD of these for $150, but after watching the free clips on the website I'd advise you to save your money. The product itself is a liquid HGH releaser, and costs a whopping $189 for three bottles, or you can get each bottle for $53 if you sign up for a one year supply. So what exactly is in these bottles that makes them so expensive?

There are quite a few different herbs in HGH Plus, which is rare for an HGH supplement. Normally the formulas contain a variety of amino acids, an active ingredient, and occasionally colostrum. HGH Plus has a wide range of plants which have no effect on the secretion or release of human growth hormone. Reading the explanations of the general herbs shows that a lot of the theory comes from ancient Chinese medicine, as they claim that a herb called Ziziphi Spinosae increases "Qi", which is the "energy of the spleen". Exactly what that means, I could not tell you. While I could not testify about the effectiveness of the active ingredients in HGH Plus, it does contain some of the needed amino acids. L-arginine is a substance the body can use to construct HGH, and one which is found in HGH Plus, though it is also broken down to form nitric oxide which increases blood flow. L-orthinine and L-Glutamine are the other amino acids found in the supplement. While most HGH releasers use between five and ten different amino acids, HGH Plus uses only three, meaning many of the proteins needed to make HGH will have to come from another source. The supplement also does not contain colostrum. Even though colostrum does not directly affect HGH production, it is found in many HGH supplements because of its benefits to the immune system; though in its place they have a polysaccharide which was derived from aloe vera. They claim this will boost the immune system.

The supplement comes with a seal of approval from Dezine Management Inc., which is controlled by Dr. Orman, the creator of HGH Plus. Effectively he gave his own product his own seal of approval. HGH Plus may have a significant effect on the production of HGH, and undoubtedly would be a healthy supplement to take. Because many of the ingredients are outside what is normally put into an HGH supplement and others are missing I could not give it a high recommendation. I also was put off by the explanations of how the different herbs and ingredients worked, they were less than convincing. Dr. Orman's videos didn't help much either. If you were looking for a good HGH releasing supplement, keep looking.
