What Exactly is Saizen?

Saizen is a brand name of synthetically produced human growth hormone, and next to Jintropin is the most recognizable name in artificial HGH. Sometimes called somatropin (because HGH is produced by a type of brain cells called somatrophs) it is injected for a number of reasons. The use most recognized by doctors for synthetic, injectable HGH is the treatment of growth deficiency in children. However, the majority of people searching for Saizen and buying it online are not interested in using it for this purpose. Other than helping small and underdeveloped children catch up to their peers, HGH injections like Saizen are used for both athletic enhancement and anti aging applications.

I will have to concede that Saizen has a positive effect in both of these areas. The artificial HGH can go to work right away building new muscle cells, causing the secretion of other hormones, speeding up metabolism and performing other tasks all over the body. Because HGH is responsible for building new cells, and seems to have a special connection to lean muscle, it is not hard to imagine how Saizen could greatly boost athletic performance. Because HGH levels drop substantially as we age, not enough new body cells are produced to replace old and damaged ones. This can be referred to as cellular deficit and it is responsible for most of the symptoms we would commonly refer to as aging. So the idea that Saizen can be very effective in slowing and even reversing the aging process is also theoretically sound. Most people who have invested just a little bit of time into looking for anti aging treatments or bodybuilding supplements are aware of Saizen or products like it, though few understand what negative effects injections of HGH can easily have on the body.

First things first, because it comes in vials and is referred to as "synthetic HGH", I'm sure you could reason it is not coming from your own body. HGH produced in your own pituitary gland was specifically produced for your body, whereas Saizen was not. The ideal amount of HGH to inject so one can get the full benefits with minimal side effects has also yet to be determined. Most commonly, the side effects of HGH injections such as Saizen are fluid retention and joint soreness. This can develop into full on arthritis with continued use. Hypertension has also developed from use of HGH injections, but by far the worst possible side effect is the development of acromegaly. This condition is referred to as gigantism when it develops naturally, and it results from using far too much HGH over too long a period of time. The result is a deformity in the face and other parts of the body from irregular growth and overgrowth of bone and cartilage. While Saizen is a reputable company, much of the synthetic HGH which is bought online is not HGH at all, but rather a substance called HCG, which will have none of the positive effects of HGH.

Injecting HGH is the quickest way to boost hormone levels, but definitely not the safest. There are actually supplements specifically designed to promote the secretion and release of more HGH inside your body. This method is completely safe, available without prescription and much more cost effective. The only downside is it will take longer to feel the results; but in contrast to the downsides of Saizen it is the smarter choice.
